I offer both short and long term therapy, depending on the goals of the client. In addition to reaping the rewards of counseling, walk and talk therapy offers the health benefits of physical activity and nature. This is an optional technique that can be discussed and adopted at any point during treatment.
I work from a holistic wellness model which attends to physical, emotional, intellectual, occupational, social, and spiritual health. I believe in emphasizing the unique strengths of each client and consider self-care to be critical. I’ll meet you where you are – I am client-centered and tailor treatment to each individual by pulling from various theoretical frameworks.

I have clinical experience with children (play therapy), adolescents (activity therapy), adult individuals and couples counseling. I’ve facilitated group therapy focused on topics such as active parenting, grief and loss, as well as men’s domestic violence.
Work and Education
I’ve worked in publicly traded corporations, non-profit organizations, family-owned businesses, as well as both large public and small private universities. In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, I made the decision to join the counseling profession so that I could help people lead healthier lives. I graduated with a master’s degree from Loyola University New Orleans in 2008 and a PhD from the University of New Orleans in 2011.
